Muraiki Duet
Described as the wind blowing into the bamboo grooves, muraiki is an expressive sound used to play the shakuhachi — an ancient Japanese flute — and is characterized by intimate, meditative breaths that transmute the deepest emotions into the heart.
Strung thoughtfully with alternating freshwater pearls and gold beading, these pieces are intentionally reminiscent of the Japanese flute and its healing music, often played by Zen Buddhists as a tool to reach enlightenment. Created with our Muraiki Earrings and Necklace, this duet is to be worn as a reminder to stay centred: to know when to move and when to be still, like floating clouds in the sky.
Crafted in 14K yellow gold or gold-filled jeweller's brass featuring freshwater pearls.
All Saffron Noire jewellery is crafted with genuine pearls and every pearl
is unique, so variation will occur.
